Since 2003 the Foundation has funded professional development grants for teachers, technology upgrades, software packages, and other projects that impact LISD students on a daily basis. The Foundation receives donations from businesses, families, individuals, and our wonderful LISD faculty and staff. Giving to the Foundation may be done in several ways:

Annual Appeal Campaign - The Annual Appeal is held at year-end. This fund raising drive is a key portion of the Foundation’s fundraising efforts.

Matching Donations - Some employers will generously match gifts made by their employees. Please check with your employer to stretch your giving dollars. A partial list of gift matching companies is linked above.

Endowment Fund - Gifts may be designated to the Foundation’s Endowment fund. For more information on endowment giving please contact the Foundation.

Denim and Diamonds Ball - The Foundation’s annual fund-raising dinner and auction is a major source of support to the Foundation’s efforts. Sponsorships and underwriting opportunities are available. Please contact the Foundation for more information on the Ball.

General Donations - Contributions to the Foundation may be made at any time of the year. Gifts are often given in memory or honor of a special person.
