Join the Foundation for Lovejoy Schools in its mission to enrich the learning experience of our LISD young people to enable them to grow into greatness as contributors to their communities.
Lovejoy ISD is growing up along with its students. Today the district provides an exemplary learning environment for preschoolers through sophomores. As we grow as a community, our focus remains on nurturing each individual student to reach his or her highest potential.
Gifts to the Annual Appeal provide extra financial resources to enable all Lovejoy schools to expand exceptional programs, support excellent faculty and staff, partner with PTAs, and stay on the leading edge of advances in educational technology.
Who decides how the money is spent? The Invest in Excellence committee includes representatives from elementary and secondary teachers, staff and administrators, and Foundation Board members. These committee members, along with the curriculum department, review requests to determine alignment to our district instructional program. Donations to the Foundation support areas such as professional development, online resources, software and hardware, subject specific learning projects, and K-12 community projects.
Last year the generous donations to our annual appeal and Denim & Diamonds Ball made possible the funding of projects totaling $96,000. Details are on our website www.foundationforlovejoyschools.org.
Each year the Foundation seeks to raise $500 for every student enrolled in Lovejoy ISD. Please share this worthy effort by making a generous donation to the Annual Appeal today.
